CAMHS Out of Hours Helpline

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) has launched an extended out of hours advice line for people living in the Cheshire and Wirra area.

Direct dial contact: 0151 488 8453 Available from 9-10pm (Mon – Fri) and 12-8pm (Sat and Sun)

The advice line is open to everyone (children, young people, relatives, teachers, other professionals) and allows people to talk to a mental health professional if they are concerned or would like advice about children or young people’s mental health.

Place2Be’s child mental health and counselling services are based on more than 25 years of experience supporting the wellbeing of children, young people, families and school staff across the UK.

CEOP Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre:

Thinkuknow is the educuation programme of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre which protects children both online and offline.  You can find advice and guidance about staying safe when you’re on a phone, tablet or computer.  There are a number of activity packs for use at home via the folllowing link:

FRANK is a national anti-drug advisory service jointly established by the Department of Health and Home Office of the British government in 2003.  It is intended to reduce the use of both legal and illegal drugs by educating  teenagers and adolescents about the potential effects of drugs.
