I am delighted to report that, from September, we will be working in partnership with the Dallaglio Foundation to further support our pupils in Y10 and Y11. This is a development programme which aims to get teenagers into sustained education, employment or training. It was set up by Lawrence Dallaglio OBE, former England Rugby captain, and is a 3 year programme that continues through to ‘Next Steps’ on leaving school.
Although we always encourage our pupils to keep in touch, the Dallaglio Foundation is able to offer pupils additional support in their transition to further education or employment by acting as mentors once they leave school. This additional support will include tracking employability, work-related discussions to help increase confidence in career goals and help with job and college applications.
