One of the reward trips on offer this half term was to Chirk Castle near Wrexham and this appealed greatly to some of our year 7s, as well as to Mr McConnachie – he gladly accompanied them last Friday and couldn’t resist a selfie en route!
A visit to the Adam Tower was clearly a must and gave students the opportunity to dress up in the medieval armour and check out the two-level dungeons.
