World Book Day
Along with many other schools nationwide, Kilgarth staff and pupils enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day on 6th March. Some pupils were rather shy when it came to having their photographs published but this didn’t apply to our staff! From left to right we have:
- Thing 1, Thing 2 and The Cat in the Hat all from the very popular Cat in the Hat books by Dr Zeuss
- The Incredible Hulk (this one not looking too fierce!) from comic books published by Marvel Comics
- Wenda from Where’s Wally (hiding her stripey legs) from the series created by Martin Handford
- Hamish the Hairy Haggis (any excuse for Mr Mac to dress up in his kilt!) by AK Patterson
- James Bond (unfortunately not available for casting!) by Ian Fleming
- Tigger (a very energetic one who regular organises sports activities for pupils after school) from Winnie the Pooh
- The Hairy Biker (has to be from the Hairy Biker cookbooks)
- Last but not least Inspector Poirot, the fictional Belgium detective created by Agatha Christie
