Staff at Kilgarth need little encouragement to dress up so we celebrated World Book Day in our usual style with lots of great characters! Alice made an appearance, along with the Mad Hatter and the Pack of Cards, to commemorate 150 years of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Lots of pupils made a special effort too and looked fabulous! We had Thor Hammer, Superman, Luigi from Super Mario Bros, as well as some scary looking characters from The Walking Dead! Pupils were a little more publicity shy, however, so we have agreed to share their photos on our signage around school. Staff, on the other hand, have given their consent for photos to be published and shared with our website visitors:

“Who cares for you?” said Alice, You’re nothing but a pack of cards!” At this (according to the story) the whole pack rose up into the air, and came flying down upon her.
