INVESTORS IN PEOPLE AWARDS AT THE TOWER OF LONDON WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE

imagesThe Tower of London is renowned worldwide for being:

  • prison
  • castle
  • royal residence
  • armory
  • menagerie (& home of the raven)
  • public records office and
  • home  of the Crown Jewels.

Tonight however, The Tower will be the venue for the Investors in People Awards!  Investors in People is the leading accreditation for business improvement through people management.  All teaching and support staff, as well as Mr Baker, Headteacher, and a supportive Senior Leadership Team are very happy and proud to work at Kilgarth and are delighted to have been shortlisted in the Gold Employer of the Year (0-49) category amongst finalists from all around the world.

Kilgarth has continued to progress since achieving Investors in People Gold Accreditation in 2013, with coaching adopted by all staff to help them achieve their full potential and improve effectiveness and performance.

Mr Baker, Headteacher, Mrs Fowler, Senior Leader, and Ms Watkiss, Vice-Chair of Governors, have been ‘sent to the Tower’ to represent Kilgarth at the Awards.  We hope they will return with the Award – that would be the equivalent of a Crown Jewel!
