It’s that special time of years when schools all around the country are likely to be involved in extracurricular activities, which give students an opportunity to try out new things and develop talents, interests, and passions.
Today, we have 9 students and 4 staff heading off on a camping trip, with Mr Pritchard and Ms Lee at the helm, both experienced campers (whatever the weather!) There is a buzz of excitement as students check their belongings against their kit lists.
Many of our students have also enjoyed the Fishing course that has been running on Friday afternoons and students have been reporting back their sense of accomplishment when they’ve caught the fish (if only to release them afterwards).
The activities tie in with our rules no sanctions policy which rewards the efforts of those students who have achieved their personal scores and/or attendance target.
