Goldsmiths

Goldsmiths, University of London was founded in 1891 and has a rich academic history. Kilgarth School is proud to be working in partnership with Goldsmiths’ Psychology Department to bridge the gap between neuroscience and education. Our collaborative approach will allow us to undertake practitioner led research into improving schools’ support for pupils with social and emotional difficulties.

HMS Astute

HMS Astute is a first of class and has been described as arguably the finest attack submarine in the world today.  Commander Stephen Walker and his crew have been supporting Kilgarth School for over five years and we are proud to have developed such strong links with the Royal Navy.

 

 

Liverpool Hope University

With a history extending 168 years, Liverpool Hope has developed a strong tradition of scholarship and research in key disciplines. As the only ecumenical university foundation in Europe the University’s work has been shaped by Christian principles but embraces those of all faiths and none.

Engage in their future

Engage in their future is the National Association of School Leaders within the Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties sector (BESD) of Special Educational Needs. Their principle aims are to provide peer support, training and the sharing of good practice, to improve the standards of our schools and the education and welfare of our children.

Birkenhead Sixth Form College

Birkenhead Sixth Form College was established in 1988 and is Wirral’s top performing inclusive sixth-form.  They are the only sixth form college in Wirral and provide an effective bridge between school and the adult world of university and employment.
