Humanities

On 7th February, as a joint trip covering the curriculum for Humanities and SMSC (Spiritual, Social, Moral & Cultural), a group of pupils from Year 8 took the journey across the water with Mrs Dixon and visited the Maritime Museum, Liverpool, specifically the floor dedicated to the International Slavery Exhibition.  Fortunately, they had time to look around the rest of the museum and it was a worthwhile, educational trip, which everyone seemed to enjoy.

As part of the Humanities curriculum, Year 9s visited Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton on 11th February 2014, to gain some firsthand knowledge of historical events – local and national.  Despite the cold and windy weather, the boys enjoyed the visit.
